Confirms that your qualifications and experience meet Saudi standards.

SCFHS license — Step-by-step Guide

Step 1 — Prepare documents (before you register)

  • Collect all core documents from the checklist above (passport, degree, transcripts, internship, experience letters, license copies, Good Standing).
  • Arrange certified translations to English/Arabic for non-English/Arabic documents.
  • If employer letters or qualifications need attestation, begin the attestation process early (this is often required for DataFlow).
  • Scan all documents in high resolution (PDF or JPEG, legible).
(Tip : create a single folder and label files clearly: Passport.pdf, Degree_certificate.pdf, Transcript.pdf, etc.)

Step 2 — Create Mumaris+ account and fill profile

  • Go to Mumaris+ portal (Mumaris+ is SCFHS unified practitioner portal). Create an account or login via Nafath if you have Saudi national access.
  • Complete personal details, contact info, education and work history accurately.
  • Upload your scanned documents into the correct sections (education, internship, experience, license). Follow the Mumaris+ file naming and size rules.

Step 3 — Submit Eligibility application in Mumaris+

  • Submit the application and pay any Mumaris+ application fee if prompted.
  • You will receive an eligibility application number — keep it safe.

Step 4 — Primary Source Verification (DataFlow / PSV)

SCFHS requires primary source verification (PSV) of your academic and professional documents (DataFlow or an SCFHS-specified PSV service).Follow the PSV provider instructions (they may contact your university and previous employers for verification). Typical PSV time: varies — often several weeks to months depending on document issuers.

Step 5 — Receive Eligibility result

After PSV completes, SCFHS reviews and issues an Eligibility result in Mumaris+: Eligible / Conditionally Eligible / Not Eligible.

If Eligible and your profession requires an exam, you will be allowed to book the Prometric exam.

Step 6 — Book and sit the Prometric (SCFHS) exam
Use the Prometric booking portal or the link provided in Mumaris+ to schedule your exam at a Prometric centre (there are test centres worldwide, including Dubai).Pay the exam fee and choose an available date. Review exam blueprint and sample questions before attending.

Step 7 — Receive exam results and classification
After passing the exam, return to Mumaris+ to complete the classification/registration application and pay registration fees.
SCFHS will update your classification and issue the professional license/registration.

If you fail, Mumaris+/Prometric provide retake instructions (fees and waiting period apply).

Step 8 — Start working / renewals
Once the license is active, provide your license/SCFHS classification to your employer.
Keep records of required CME credits and renewal dates — SCFHS licenses require renewal and continuing professional development depending on the profession.
